New look autoclave range launched by Astell Scientific

We are pleased to present a new and improved range of Astell autoclaves, available in various sizes from small 33 litre benchtop to large 1400 litre free-standing cabinets, and with options of top and front loading configurations.

Every autoclave features Astell’s Logi Control system, a new controller unit boasting a 5.7 inch colour touch-screen display which contains the programme cycles, user settings and help menus on a simple-to-navigate interface, making for quick and easy cycle selection.

Automatic Heat Sealer for PCR plates

The new a4S Automatic PCR Plate Sealer provides the perfect solution for automated heat sealing of medium to high-throughput or full automation applications.

The a4S sealer is compatible with a wide range of SBS footprint plates, including all PCR plate formats from 96 well to 1536 well, assay plates, deep well storage plates and microplates. Varying plate heights, from 3 mm to 60 mm can be accommodated with minimal adjustments of the instrument. Plates are presented in the portrait format and the plate position on the shuttle allows good access for robotic integration.

Analytical HPLC Systems. The space-saving, modular design and the wide range of configuration options make this analytical HPLC ideal for routine analysis or methodology development in the laboratory. Precise drive technology of the HPLC pumps and high-pressure mixing ensure high gradient accuracy and short dead times. Flow range of 0.001 to 10 ml/min.

Semipreparative HPLC Systems. The semi-preparative HPLC systems are controlled by very powerful software. Besides easy method development and chromatogram processing, complete data documentation according to GLP guidelines is included. Flow range of 0.10 to 40 ml/min.

Preparative HPLC Systems. The preparative HPLC enables the isolation of mg to a multi-gram range within a very short time. The user-configurable liquid handling robot operating as autosampler and fraction collector facilitates the working process. Flow range of 0.50 to 5.0 liters/min.

RotoChromat Systems. The RotoChromat with its rotating column is optimal for distribution chromatography. It is used in the laboratory as well as in pilot plants and production. Installation of the Yamato spray dryer in Greece

N-Wissen GmbH put into operation the spray dryer ADL311S-A in the R&D laboratory of the pharmaceutical company Pharmathen. New spray dyer with a recovery unit GAS 410 will allow the specialists from Pharmathen to develop and test new pharmaceutical products.
