Successful Week at Achema 2018!

ACHEMA is the world’s largest trade fair for chemical technology, process technology and biotechnology held 11th-15th of June 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany.

This year N-Wissen GmbH introduced the latest models of analytical equipment (Automatic Potentiometric Titrator AT-710M, KF Titrator MKC-710M, Automatic Density Meter DA-650, Automatic Refractometer RA-620, Portable Density Meter DA-130N) as well as thermo-controlling chambers (Constant Temperature Oven DKN-612C, Vacuum Oven DP23C, Muffle Furnace FO310C, etc.).

Except the above-mentioned equipment, the biggest surprise was prepared for our visitors. For the first time we presented the new generation of climate chambers Fitoclima, the world’s first Electromagnetically Spinning Viscometer EMS-1000 and a laboratory Spray Dryer ADL-311SA with improved efficiency.

Taking the Karl Fischer Moisture Titrator into a new stage

Hybrid Karl Fischer Moisture Titrator MKH-700 has the world’s first & convenient functions equipped such as high-speed & high-precision measurement by “Hybrid titration method” which uses both “Volumetric titration method” and “Coulometric titration method”, and “Electrolytic Factor Measurement System” which does not require pure water for factor determination.

Karl Fischer Moisture Titrator which is on the market is necessary to adjust the sample amount when carrying out the measurement.
“Hybrid titration method” automatically switches between the parallel measurement by “Volumetric titration method” and “Coulometric titration method” by monitoring moisture content in titration cell with high-speed & high-precision measurement, therefore can measure without adjusting the sample amount.

With just pressing one button, the “Electrolytic Factor Measurement System” automatically performs the factor determination of Karl Fischer reagent, and save the time & work without using pure water.

The world’s first Electromagnetically Spinning Viscometer

N-Wissen GmbH presents the world’s first Electromagnetically Spinning Viscometer / Rheometer for Small, Sticky and Precious Samples.

The measuring principle is impressively simple and very powerful:
*  Wide measuring range 0.1 … 1,000,000 mPa∙s for many applications
* Automatically evaluate the temperature dependency of the viscosity in the range of 0 … 200°C within a very short time
* Captures the whole measurement with its built-in video camera
* Excellent repeatability of the measured values
* Disposable measuring cell – no cleaning required
* Requires only very small sample volumes (300 µl)
* Capable of performing determinations of the rheological behaviour of liquids by determining the share rate dependency of the viscosity
* Provides a better absolute accuracy and repeatability of the results than classical Rotational Viscometers.
